Chiropractic Improves Low Back Pain Outcomes
Often times the best approach to any problem is from various angles. In the case of low back pain, it's presentation can be varied, complex, and episodic. This is why the standard medical approach can be a great when combined with chiropractic care for patients with low back pain.
The study below demonstrates that chiropractic care positively affects outcomes and should be a standard addition to every patient's routine with low back pain. The addition of chiropractic manipulative therapy (CMT) was demonstrated to be better than standard medical care(SMC) alone.
The results of this trial suggest that CMT in conjunction with SMC offers a significant advantage for decreasing pain and improvingphysical functioningwhen compared with only standard care, for men and women between 18 and 35 years of age with acute LBP.-
